The positions in poker:
If nobody raised before you:
Early Position: JJ+
Middle position:99+ ,AK,AQ
(Late Position):77+,AK,AQ,AJ,KQ
If somebody raised after or before you:
If 1 opponent raised before you: jj+,AK
If 2 opponent raised before you: KK+
If raised after you:1010+,AK
A lot of tests and games proves that this strategy works and a lot of players uses it and win using this strategy on a long term. It’s not an obligation to play by these rules, because nobody can tell you how to play your card, although i strongly recommend to use it.
